About the Author
Gary Zaharatos
Gary Zaharatos has more than twenty years of experience in public education as a K–8 physical education teacher and instructional coach. As a Physical Education Peer Observer for Denver Public Schools, he coaches and supports PE teachers across more than 90 schools, helping them deliver high-quality instruction.
Gary is the founder of Distinguished Physical Education, which offers a K–5 PE curriculum, professional development courses, a podcast, and a certification program for teachers who facilitate professional development.
