This asynchronous graduate-level course is designed for K–12 physical education teachers who are committed to building inclusive, standards-based, rigorous physical education programs for all students. Rooted in the content of Distinguished Physical Education (Chapter Five), this course invites educators to reflect on current assessment practices, create purposeful questions, experiment with various processes for collecting data, and provide opportunities for students to reflect on their own progress toward standards-based concepts.
