Hello my name is Daryl. My undergrad was in business but I hated working in sales. I was coaching my daughters soccer team and the principals daughter was also on our team; she mentioned that I should be a PE teacher because I worked so well with the players and parents 😀 Plus I always enjoyed PE as a kid! Hoping to increase my teacher knowledge and learn some best practices so that I can be a distinquisted PE Teacher👍

Students followed expectations when I was handing out equipment (bean bags) for them to use. They were instructed to grab a bag and then spread out in the gym. Their line to get the bag was neat and they spread out in space very quickly. I think they were successful because my expectations were clearly laid out and easy to follow. They also knew that if they were quick and quiet they would get to play more and listen to me talk less.

I have choice exercise boards i use for warm-up sometime. The students get to choose from the board what there 4 warm-up exercises they want to do. It gives them some ownership.
